THE IDEA

Make something happen. Make more of it afterwards.

People remember the day they stood on a hill with your brand. We plan that day properly for outdoor brands, event organisers and destinations, then turn it into content that keeps working long after the boots come off.

WHAT WE DO

Three ways to work with Kin.

Outdoor events & activations

Outdoor event management and experiential marketing: launches, festival activations, demo days, talks, panels and community events.

From concept and site recce through to on-the-day delivery.

Event content & coverage

On-site content that gives your event a life beyond the day itself.

Race-day reels, vox pops, interviews, recap films and behind-the-scenes content, with photographers and videographers brought in as part of the package.

Social media & community

Social media management for outdoor brands, so you stay visible and your community stays engaged between events.

Content creation, community management and campaign support, month in, month out.

THEN WE CAPTURE IT

The day ends. The story doesn’t.

From the build-up to the big day and everything people share afterwards, we create content that gives your event a longer life. More stories to tell. More reasons to come back. More chances for the right people to discover your brand.

Before

Promo content, teasers and social scheduling that build excitement ahead of the day.

On the day

Live social coverage, vox pops and interviews while it’s all happening.

After

Recap reels, thank-yous and follow-up posts that keep people talking until next year.

A LITTLE PROOF.

We don’t just talk content.

Here’s what happened when our founder put it into practice.

WHY OUTSIDE IS DIFFERENT

The weather hasn’t read the run sheet.

Outdoor events bring a different set of challenges. From landowner consent and contingency planning to site logistics and reinstatement, we think through the practicalities and bring in the right specialists where a job needs them, so your event runs smoothly.

Land & permissions

Landowner consent, permits and Temporary Event Notices. We talk to the right people early and nicely.

Weather

A wet-weather plan you’d actually enjoy. And a Plan C, because it’s the Lake District.

Safety & welfare

Event management plans, risk assessments, marshals, and first aid and welfare cover.

Getting there

Traffic management, parking, shuttle transfers and accessible routes for everyone who wants to come.

Site & infrastructure

Site plans, marquees, power, signage and toilets, from get-in to get-out.

Leaving it

Waste management, ground protection and full reinstatement. The place goes back the way we found it, or better.

Every detail handled.

Yes, even the portaloos.

HOW WE WORK

How an outdoor event happens.

Only need content? Skip the map. We’ll agree the brief and what you’ll get, then turn up and make it.

01

Walk it first

A site recce with you, so we know your people, the ground and the access before anything goes on a plan.

02

Plan for four seasons

Event management plan, risk assessments, site plan, contingencies and content plan, for one day in the Pennines.

03

Run the day

From get-in to get-out, we’re on site with you, keeping it calm, so you can talk to your people.

04

Carry it home

Site cleared, debrief done, and the story edited, posted and shared while people are still talking about it.

IN THEIR WORDS

BEHIND THE CAMERA

She was, without doubt, personable, hardworking and professional.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Louise on numerous occasions over the last few years. Louise made my life as a photographer at the events she managed a lot easier, which meant I could work both efficiently and confidently.

A SPEAKER’S VIEW

The perfect person to have working alongside your team.

I’ve always found Louise the consummate professional. Really attentive, organised and proactive.

THE PERSON BEHIND KIN.

Kin is new. I’m not new to this.

Before starting Kin, I worked as a freelance events manager, running conferences, investor showcases, panels, pitch nights and private dinners: briefs, budgets, suppliers, run sheets and the day itself. I’ve also run social channels across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube, and built an outdoor audience of my own. Kin. Outdoors brings those two worlds together: someone who can deliver the day and knows what the people on it want to watch.

WHO IT’S FOR

If your customers own more than one waterproof, we should talk.

Outdoor brands and retailers, running events and trail races, festivals, tourism and destination teams, adventure businesses and the people bringing communities together outside. Whether you’re planning something new or want more people to discover what you already do, we’d love to hear about it.

Based in Sheffield. At home in the Peak District. Working across the Lake District, the North and beyond.
