Enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we store the details you give us (such as your name, email, company, event details and message) so Louise can reply and plan your event. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our business records.
Mailing list
If you join the mailing list we store your first name, email address, the consent wording you agreed to, the time you agreed and the page you signed up on. We use this only to send Kin. events, invitations and stories. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
Event sign-ups
When you register interest in or RSVP to an event, we store your details to manage places, send event information and, if you tick the box, add you to the mailing list.
Email tracking
Some emails we send may include standard tracking to tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. This helps us avoid sending you things you don't want. You can ask us not to track you.
Instagram feed
Our home page may show recent posts from our Instagram account. Images are loaded from Instagram (Meta), which may receive technical information such as your IP address when they load.
Spam protection
To stop abuse, our forms store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing louise@kinconnects.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
